Dear All,

Please join Tokyo Helps on Thursday the 10th of November, and help us raise funds to help those affected by the March 11th earthquake and tsunami.

100% of profits raised will be donated to Kizuna Iwanuma, an NPO formed in the aftermath of the disaster, by locals for locals, to assist those in need.

Much has changed in Tohoku over the last 7 months, as have the needs and requests of those bravely rebuilding their lives.
The NPO's current project is to restock the Iwanuma city library and provide books to local community centers, temporary housing, and children's homes.

The event will feature live music, art, a chance to win some fantastic prizes, and an opportunity to write personal messages of hope and support to the people of Iwanuma.

Donations of books in good condition will also be gratefully received at the event. Special requests include children's books (all ages), dictionaries, encyclopedias, picture books, and cookbooks.

*Please note: As there are many other opportunities to support Tohoku, and many different communities that would benefit from assistance, this will be a smaller event than previous Tokyo Helps fundraisers. Advanced booking is recommended!
